Salishan Spa and Golf Resort RestaurantOh man, best stop yet! Dogs are allowed everywhere but the restaurant. Lovely grounds to walk around on (and you can take your pup to the playground and putt-putt areas).
They host yappy hour from 7-8p, where they put out bacon flavored water for the pups in the lobby. While it wasn’t a social thing, we did have to pull our dog away as he attempted to drink his weight in water. Highly recommend.

Best Western Plus Bayshore InnThe pet relief area was a bit hard to find, not well lit if approaching from the west. Otherwise, room was nice, good selection for breakfast and you can grab snacks for the road. If you are willing to walk five minutes down the road to the Elk River Access there is a lovely 1.5 mile water walk along the Bay.
Bone-us
Best Western Heritage InnBakersfield in general seems to have a distinct odor which permeated the bathroom. Not great. There was a puppy area by the stairs but no elevator and we were on the second floor. Did have breakfast and low pet fee, but overall, not really worth stopping. Also, getting there was an issue as the area was blocked by trucks.
If you want to walk your pup, there is an abandoned lot, and a dirt path behind the hotel that will serve the purpose.
Bare Bones
The Classic Desert Aire HotelHad a room on the first floor, so easy to load/unload and take the puppy to use the bathroom. There was a gravel landscaped area up front for the pup to relieve himself. Price was reasonable, and accommodations were okay, if a bit bare bones.

La Quinta by Wyndham Abilene MallEasy overnight stay. Pet fee was reasonable, accommodations were good, checked off all the boxes.
Two Paws Up! (Best Restaurant Ever)
Superior Bathhouse BreweryPups were welcomed indoors into the restaurant. We got a souvenir bandana from the host for our pup and a bowl of water. Servers were dog people and happy to see our four legged friend. Also, food was delicious, and rootbeer float was AMAZING. Read no further. Go!

Embassy Suites by Hilton Hot Springs Hotel & SpaRoom was very nice and staff were great. Pup wasn’t allowed in any of the common areas so had to book it in and out. A cat named Smoke hung out by the front door, but didn’t want to be friends. 🤷🏽♂️🐕

Kimpton Overland Hotel - Atlanta Airport an IHG HotelThis hotel was very dog friendly. We had forgotten a water bowl for our pup, and housekeeping happily delivered one to our room. Ample area out front for puppies to relieve themselves. Restaurants aren’t dog friendly BUT pups can watch tv in the room without you.
