Convenient & Comfy
Best Western Heritage InnStayed here one night while traveling. Convenient to the interstate, and the on-site diner was good food, and convenient as well. Clean rooms with no lingering dog/cigarette/pot smells, which is a bonus anytime you’re staying in a motel type locale (doors open to the outside).
Best place we’ve stayed on trip
Best Western Caprock InnWhile at first this location didn’t look like it would offer much, this is easily the nicest place we’ve stayed in a 3-week cross-country drive (with stops and visits). Rooms are large, and include a table, with still plenty of space for pup’s bed. No designated pet area, but there’s a grassy area at the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut right next door.
Comfortable & welcoming
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Amarillo I-40 West TXA great, comfortable spot; we stayed overnight on a long road trip. We ended up having to get a suite with a couch/sofa bed (regular pet friendly rooms were sold out) and it was plenty of space for our 70 lb dog to stretch out. Breakfast was decent!
Simple, clean & easy
Quality Inn & Suites Civic CenterAccommodations were fine for a quick overnight stay while on the road. Nice grassy spots to walk the pup.
Dog Friendly, Comfortable & Clean
Sonesta Select Miami LakesFirst time staying at this brand, and we will use it again if we are in a city where a Sonesta is: they are truly dog friendly, the rooms were super clean, and lots of grass for reliving the pets. This location didn’t have many human amenities outside of the pool and in-room coffee, but they included dog bed/food dish/mat/treats more than made up for it.
They've got grass....
La Quinta by Wyndham CarlsbadWhich can be hard to find around these parts, so highly recommend just for that. But also, professional, helpful, friendly service. Rooms were nice, and ours wasn't carpeted (which I prefer). Highly recommend.
