Beautiful house and garden

Nice upstairs room in the carriage house. Just wish the neighbors’ yard junk didn’t spoil the view.

Very nice

The only problems were the people next door slamming doors starting at 5:30AM and all the dog poop on every grass patch. Even within 12” of the poop bag stand.

Nice stay

Large clean room, safe parking with roving security guard, quiet building and convenient dog walk area. Conveniently right next to Denny’s where they give guests a 10% discount.

Great service

Marty at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, well stocked and convenient to the door for parking and walking our boys.

Absolutely the WORST

This is one of a row of decrepit motels aligned down the block. The automated front door was broken. There was a sign saying the desk manager was helping another customer and would be back in 5 minutes but I could hear two women talking while I read a sign proclaiming this a 100% smoke free hotel. Still, I saw and smelled a cloud of marijuana smoke come from the office door as I repeated “hello?” Finally, one woman came out, gave me a key and directions to the middle entrance. Again, that door was broken, no lock in the hole, totally unsecured. This entry, the hallway and our room reeked of pot. We had the added aroma of dog urine in the room and a carpet so sticky we would not take off our socks! The toilet seat was up making us question if that was from housekeeping or not.

If we had not been exhausted from driving for over 12 hours and the other nearby hotels weren’t just as seedy, we would have left.

Thanks for making us such a horrible, non-refundable reservation Fido!

Great views!

We had room 808 which is an end room on the upper level. Very convenient since that is the parking level also. Nice little balcony to watch the waves and birds and they even provide a set of binoculars for when the dolphins come to visit the Cove.
