One strange rule
Red Roof Inn Kenly - I-95When I checked in, I was told that the dog is not allowed on the bed. They charged a $50 fee for room cleaning if they find evidence of the dog on the bed. I thought it was a dog friendly hotel. To say the least, this Red Roof will not be on my "return to" list.

Great room and dog friendly
Comfort Inn PA Turnpike - 1-81My dog and I enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn. The room was very comfortable and very nice.

Great overnight stop
Red Roof Inn & Suites Brunswick I-95I have stayed at this location before and I was not disappointed with this second stay. Easy on and off Route 95 and next door to a Cracker Barrel restaurant.

Quick overnight stop
Red Roof Inn FairmontThe Red Roof was just off from the highway and easy off and on. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I guess I can complain about the 2" of snow that fell overnight. Don't think Red Roof can control that.

Great overnight on the road
La Quinta by Wyndham Cleveland MacedoniaI was traveling to Kentucky and the La Quinta was just about half way of my journey. I booked the room online and was not disappointed when I arrived. Sorry to see that the breakfast room is not open but I know it is because of COVID. The Grab and Go breakfast was OK but I miss the nice breakfast they use to be available.

Traveling south for the winter
Red Roof Inn KingslandI stopped in Kingsland, GA, at the Red Rood Inn on my way south for the winter. The room was great and the staff very pleasant. Several restaurants walkable distance for my supper the night I arrived.
