Not very dog friendly

The grassy pet relief area is only about 30"X70" and the motel is surrounded by busy roads. I had to put my dog in the car and drive to a park to get it any exercise. Lodging tax is applied to the pet fee, so just one dog for one overnight is $58.50 extra cost. Despite requesting a first floor room, we were assigned a second floor room, requiring an elevator ride. We had to argue at the front desk for a first floor room which was in fact available. The mere fact a motel allows pets does not mean they pet friendly!
