Smoking vs Nonsmoking Rooms
Red Roof Inn Memphis EastI give this hotel 3 bones because of the friendly staff and the convenience for booking a room in less than 24 hours. However, I was unaware that the rate listed on this website is for a SMOKING room. I opted for the smoking room thinking it wouldn't be too bad since I wasn't going to be in town for more than 12 hours. The room definitely smelled gross and the bathtub was dirty. Other than that, the staff are very welcoming to pets and there is a nice grassy area in between the hotel and a Cracker Barrel for my pup to go potty in.

Good Pet-Friendly Hotel
La Quinta by Wyndham Nashville FranklinWith any pet-friendly hotel, I know that it is pretty unrealistic to reserve a high-end hotel room. However, this hotel is great and I recommend it for those traveling with their pets! Despite the floors looking a little dirty, everything else was clean, the staff was nice, and the free breakfast was actually pretty decent.

Decent Hotel, Noisy Highway
Red Roof Inn Knoxville Central - Papermill RoadMy husband, pup, and I actually enjoyed this hotel for the most part. Our room was very clean and the breakfast was pretty decent. Despite being located right off the highway, this hotel is convenient and very pet friendly.
