Nice, clean rooms
Sleep Inn Provo Near UniversityStaff was welcoming though there was a note about possible breed restrictions (not specified). A very small grassy area is available behind the parking lot. Pets not allowed in rooms alone. Great breakfast.

Good space for walking dogs
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Red Rock-GallupHotel was adequate, quiet, and there was lots of space to walk around the lot. No grass though.

Good pet areas
La Quinta by Wyndham Orem University Pwy ProvoHotel seems updated. Room was clean. Pet area with grass in the back. Only gripe is getting in trouble for coming to the lobby with my dog to get coffee during breakfast hours. There isn’t a separate area for breakfast away from the lobby.

Ok for dogs, not good for humans
Motel 6 San Diego CA - Hotel Circle - Mission ValleyLots of dogs stay here. There’s no extra fee. Lots of poop bags, though there were still piles of poop built up in the rare spots of grass. The hotel is a hot spot for crime, so beware. Rooms aren’t cleaned during your stay, and even then barely clean between. Getting clean towels and sheets was very difficult. Lobby had hot coffee most days.

Red carpet welcome for pups!
Socorro Springs Restaurant & BreweryOutside patios with shade and misters made us quite comfortable on a hot afternoon. The pups were very welcome, staff was superb friendly and brought out a water dish for the dogs. Food and beer was good too.

Dog friendly but area sketchy
La Quinta by Wyndham Albuquerque WestThe hotel had minimal amenities due to COVID-19. Only room coffee and no breakfast. Areas secure for walking dogs and hotel has a perimeter fence, which after spending a night in the area I can see why. Cops in the area twice, along with CSI van and ambulance. Drug activity and gunshots. If you are desperate and need an affordable place this place will do, but the area seems to be high in crime.

Plenty of room for dogs to walk out back.
Baymont by Wyndham CortezIt was a good place with room to walk the dogs. We were unfortunately in a corner room and had to keep the shades closed because a lot of people kept going by and our dog didn’t enjoy that.
