Pleasant stay

Comfort Inn Crawfordsville

Location was pretty good, but depending on how you program your route guidance it might be confusing to find. Using the address, google struggled a bit. Using the place name it found the location immediately. Even though it is fairly close to the interstate, noise was not a concern in our room. The room was in excellent condition. There was plenty of room for we and "Fido" to wander around outside. We dined on take out' pizza from Noble Roman's Pizza, which is a short, ez drive away. Confusingly, it is located inside a truck stop. They make fresh pizza there and it lived up to the hype. Breakfast was quite good and satisfying, unlike other places that we stayed at where cold cereals and other inexpensive offerings ruled. Eggs, sausages, grits and gravy were available along with other offerings.

Pleasant stay

Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tomah

Microtel Inn is kind of off by itself and it was pretty quiet the night we stayed. There's not much here, a defunct A&W/Long John Silvers is next to the motel & a towing business. There weren't many guests on this particular Sunday night. Microtel is not too far from Camp McCoy, and staff told me that when the camp is active that the place is busy. The room we had was handicap accessible & it was in good condition. It was on the smallish side but it worked. Likely would opt for a larger room on a potential future visit. Breakfast could have had more choices, but there were hard cooked eggs available. This Microtel offers frozen pizza cooked on the premises, with several choices available. We selected one for supper and staff delivered it to our room. It was pretty good. The one thing that we didn't like was that this Microtel collected a $150 refundable pet damage fee, which we thought was excessive.

Not too bad but a little subpar compared to other Baymonts

Baymont by Wyndham Clinton

We have stayed at several other Baymonts and this one wasn't quite up to their standards. This Baymont will probably be up for a reno in the next couple of years. Some wear and tear is evident and you can see that some repairs have been made, but it was a band aid operation in our room. No big deal, things like wi fi and tv worked as expected. No problems with doggy type things either. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Wizened little red apples, cold cereals and the star of the show, individually wrapped Danish pastries, were about it. Other Baymonts we've stayed at did a lot better in this respect. Guess we expected a little more than what we got. We were there on a Friday night, and it was not noisy.

Pretty good, but all of a sudden kinda pricey

Red Roof Inn London I-75

We and pets have stayed at this Red Roof a number of times through the years and have always done well with it. For us, it's conveniently located. There is a lot of room for Fido to roam around the site and the general, and you'll have a good time doing that. Rooms are on the smallish side, and generally are in good repair. The included breakfast includes things like some sort of egg, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, bagels, rolls etc, better than the fare offered by competitors. Until this year, prices were quite good for what you got. We stayed here two years ago, and the tab for a day was in the low $70s. This year, the price is nearly double. We usually travel prior to Memorial Day, but this year we came after. The increased price lowers our rating from 5 to 4 stars.
