You get exactly what you see

It was your basic Red Roof Inn. Nothing fancy and just the bare minimum as far as amenities go. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. The bathroom was poorly stocked but it easy enough to get more towels ect. at the front desk. The room was conveniently located to the side door and a lot of grassy area for those traveling with dogs. It is a non-smoking room now but you could 100% tell that it was a smoking hall at one point. The second you walk in the door from the outside you can smell it in the walls and carpet. Luckily the rooms were a nice wood or faux wood floor so the smell is not obvious in the room. The staff was super friendly each time we had to interact with them. The check in and out process is easy. The location wasn't ideal if you plan to uber. During the day it was never less than $23 to downtown Savannah. At night, at the time all the bars were closing the waits were an hour long and the rides back were upwards of $60. I would spend a little on a room a little closer to the attractions next time we traveled.
