long wait at checkin--NOT the fault of those working there

Lovely rooms and very clean etc --But there was a long long wait over a half hour - 40 minutes for check in--There was no one there! They had so few people working there --the person who checked us in was also taking out the garbage . it was NOT her fault but the fault of the management. A man came down--not sure who he was --and said she will be here in a minute--and it was another 15 -20 minutes until she came. He went behind a door near the office and wold not answer any knocks on the door. Not sure why he did not check us in or the other people waiting OR why wasn't he getting the trash that the other clients were complaining about! We understand about having few staff given Covid- but we traveled to California from the east coast and back and this was the first time we had a problem like this. It was unfair to the staff trying to work there.

Lovely place--quiter than what you would think though it is close to Route 80

Wonderful! Clean, newly decorated, staff very friendly and courteous. Excellent protocol for Covid 19-with breakfast in a bag, coffee made to order (rather than guests gathering around the coffee makers etc.)
Numerous places nearby to walk your dog. Felt peaceful, quiet despite being close to Route 80 .
