Clean and comfortable

As mentioned in prior reviews, the hotel is very conveniently located. Our son lives in Winter Park and the options are limited for people with dogs in the town. The rates were reasonable the hotel was clean and you got a free breakfast on top of it. We have two medium size dogs, and there was more than enough room in the suite. Two reasonably sized grassy dog areas flank the pool and have bags and disposal containers. Also staff is friendly. Will stay there again.

Two paws up

Beautiful hotel and that they allow dogs is a bonus. Had little interaction with staff (good). Was responsive when we did need something. Nicely appointed room. Last minute reservation so did get one a bit on the small side and would be tough if someone got our room with a big dog. Still a very nice hotel with a ‘BIG’ exercise area.

Nasty and smelly

Bathroom not cleaned, black spots on couch, small chips out of wall, chair stained, towels were dirty. Problems getting food delivered.

Good food

went to restaurant to try to get a table. many open but said that the reservations took up many tables. Nevertheless, they were not taken during our meal. said that umbrellas were broken. Given that it was 90 degrees out it would have been nice to have shade. later just before leaving another waitress put up the “broken “ umbrella.

The food however was quite good. I had the breakfast pizza and everything was fresh. My son in law had the breakfast burrito and liked it.

Reservations on nice days outside therefore are essential. Was put off by the dishonesty of the hostess though.

Wonderful side trip

not tons of cars but a nice small collection and a friendly caretaker. Got to go to the Artisans’ shop. nice grounds. Worth the trip

Nice area

short and sweet——the service was good and the server was nice. The grouper was good but expensive. The Mahi salad was too salty to the point of being inedible. Guacamole was well above average. The boys(dogs) had a nice bowl of water.

Ok

Room was ok. Floor had some cleaned stains. Bed was comfortable and room was cleaned otherwise well. Snacks for breakfast that was ok. Very small place for dogs to walk and go to bathroom. Staff nice and welcoming
