Reasonable Accommodations
Motel 6 Twentynine Palms CAFast check-in, a clean basic room, adequate pet relief area.

Funky Entrance, Solid Value
La Quinta by Wyndham San Diego Mission BayAlthough right off the I-5, following GPS instructions to get to the hotel was challenging due to the one-way streets and Freeway on and off ramps. Getting back to the I-5 was much easier. Rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet. The pet relief area was a dirt strip, but it was only a short walk to a grassy area by the In-n-Out Burger. Best of all, it is just a short drive to either the San Diego Dog Beach or the Del Mar Dog Beach. We hit up the Del Mar Dog Beach because that was in the direction of our next destination and our dog, Gunner, had a blast running in the surf and playing with the other pups.

Over Priced
Bodega Coast Inn and SuitesRooms were dated with lots of road noise. Most of the amenities were closed due to Covid. Nothing extra for our dog and expensive nightly pet fee.

Location
Sailor Jack's Oceanfront InnGreat room and view. Just 45 steps down to a great dog friendly beach.
