Not a good spot if you need to rest
Holiday Inn Knoxville-West I-40 & I-75 an IHG HotelI stopped at this hotel during a road trip with my dog. They put us on the bottom floor, below the front desk area, which was nice to be able to quickly get the dog outside. However, I was also in a room next to a pretty loud road and I could hear kids running around upstairs. The room was stuffy so I went to get some air freshener from the front office to help clear the air a bit. The rooms are decent but it’s just pretty loud. So be advised.

Hard to sleep!
Candlewood Suites Mooresville an IHG HotelI selected this hotel based on other recommendations but I did not enjoy my stay there and certainly not for the price.
I needed a place to stay and rest with my dog during a lengthy road trip. The good part is they put us on the first floor by a door but that also meant that late into the night (12:30AM, 1:30 AM) we heard people coming in from the side door that was by our room. The people coming in were not always quiet and either didn’t care that it was late or assumed we couldn’t hear them. Also, at 3:30 AM there was at first a light pounding on the exterior door which became louder and louder. I’m assuming the side door locked at a certain point and the people didn’t want to walk around. Needless to say I didn’t get much sleep that night. The room is decent but I don’t think it was worth $136 for one night. And I think I might have been charged $6 for using a bowl?

Great Hotel
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Charlotte MooresvilleI’ve been searching for a nice, clean, dog friendly hotel and I think this is it! Located just north of Charlotte, in Moorseville, the hotel was perfect. There is a $75 pet fee but it’s worth it. Also a huge area to walk your dog outside the hotel.

Great Place to Stay
TownePlace Suites Colorado Springs Garden of the GodsThis hotel is a great place to stay located just north of a Charlotte in Moorseville. There is a huge area to walk your dog and the hotel is nice and clean. The pet fee is $75 and they do allow large dogs.
