The Redwood Fortuna Riverwalk Hotel
The Redwood Riverwalk a Boutique MotelThe day my dog and I arrived the power went out so it took awhile to check in but eventually the power did come back on. I had an upstairs room. The room was carpeted but no smelly carpet or room. The room was clean with a fridge and microwave. The plumbing and AC/Heat unit worked fine. There is a large area in the back for the dogs. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was pretty quiet at night since the hotel is located a little ways from the freeway. There is a list of breakfast item (very limited due to COVID-19) that you can order in advance for the next day. A Shell station close by but no eateries.

Motel 6 in Williams, CA
Motel 6 Williams CAMy dog Ruthie and I stayed in an upstairs room. The room was clean with a fridge and microwave. It was non carpeted flooring which is great when you have a dog. The AC worked fantastic because it was hot and smokey days in August. The room was cool and no smell of fire or cigarette smoke. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. A grassy area out front for dogs to roam and relieve themselves. Williams is a small town so walking distance to restaurants, fast food, and Starbucks.

Super 8 Yreka
Super 8 by Wyndham YrekaWe stayed there 2 nights. It was 7/4. The dog wasn't bother by the fireworks but the people next door with their kids who were coming in and out. I mentioned this to the hotel clerk the next day but thank goodness they were checking out. The 2nd day was a good sleep day. The hotel is older so it looked old with two armchairs that were worn and scuff marks on side floor molding. I think it was the extra security lock but it didn't work. The room I would say was fairly clean but I wasn't sure how clean the floor was. There is a small gravel area next to what looks like a junk area for the dogs to do their things. Breakfast was available for takeout no dining in due to coronavirus. There's yogurt, apples, bear claws, boiled egg , juice and not sure if waffles were available. All food wrapped individually. For the price, the stay wasn't bad once the family left. It was quiet. The staff is very friendly. They may have given me another room if the family stayed another day.
