NOT Pet/People Friendly!

Found this place on bringfido.com that stated it was pet-friendly. We walked in and a man stopped and stared at us. We walked up to the podium to ask where the pet area was and the gawking man finally said "no dogs allowed". I said we found y'all on the site that said dog friendly, is there a different restaurant? He tells us we have to go ahead to the other entrance (the one that opens from the traffic, meaning we would've had to park in the back and then walk around the building to the other side). I ask if we can just walk through to the other side since it's like 20 steps across. He said no, we have to go around and eat outside, then he walked away. Already a little annoyed, we head back into the icy pathway and slide our way around to the other side in the cold, with our 3 month old puppy. We see a ratty-looking menu bar outside and begin reading it in the cold. As we're reading it, a different man comes out and says we won't be served out here because they're not dressed for the cold. He said we could come in one at a time and order drinks from the bar. I asked if we could order food and- he cuts me off to say "you can order drinks and bring it out, but I'm not staying out here for food." When he finally lets me speak, I continue asking if we could order food and bring it outside ourselves since we have our puppy. He said "Yeah sure, if you want but I'm not bringing any food out here. Just came to tell you." So here we are visiting Winterpark, freezing cold, with a 10lb pup, being given the runaround, and then told we basically weren't gonna get served. We took our pup and left. They lost our business and we don't plan to ever go there if we visit the ski town again. Their menu was over-priced anyway, but we went because the website said they were pet friendly. Clearly incorrect. Bad service. Learn how to treat tourists/potential clients!
