Great Hotel

This is five bones for the category. It is a budget hotel. I booked a trip during the Thanksgiving Holiday last minute for several days. I was visiting someone in Martinsville. It was conveniently located. Martinsville is very small. It takes just minutes to travel from one side to the other. When staying there, you do have to turn in at the Royal King; no other access exists down the way from there. It's located by a Kroger and a Wendys. I stayed with my small dog which was treated like he was a little prince. There is a daily pet fee. There is a lot of grassy area in which to walk your dog. The room I stayed in was a queen and looks just like the pictures. The room was heated upon arrival which I greatly appreciated.

It was also very clean. The tub looked like it could use a washing, but on closer exam it was clean, just needed resurfacing. I have asthma. I did not smell anything like mold or cigarettes. For breakfast, I had a fruit food cup. I don't really eat breakfast. Other guests enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was absolutely amazing! The manager Ashley was extremely helpful and kind. All the staff was so kind and friendly, they felt like friends. Room cleaning was offered daily. When visiting Martinsville, I will absolutely be staying there again! I have stayed at other budget hotels, this stay I enjoyed the most!

Great Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at the Aloft Hotel. The staff was amazing. Carlos at the front desk was so attentive to guests needs. We stayed several nights. I liked the location that was near everything. It was blocks from Old Savannah Tours which allows small dogs. I would stay there again.

PROS & CONS

Pros:
Room Very Clean
Staff so very nice and accommodating.
Inexpensive rate
Small refrigerator & microwave

Cons
Air conditioning unit (loud, but didn't bother me.)
Musty smell due to Air Conditioning unit. (I brought an air purifier which worked well, but still had asthma attacks)

No elevator. If you need a first floor room, put that in your preference.
