Good Stop
TownePlace Suites by Marriott AlexandriaThe hotel was as expected in this chain. Bed was comfortable. The room was a bit worn but clean. Front desk staff were very nice! Hotel is located in a mall parking lot, so the majority of the grass is in medians. On the plus side, there are tons of restaurants around, and it appeared that hotel patrons were all picking up after their dogs. We would stay here again.

Beautiful Drive/Great Information
Vicksburg National Military Park1800 acres with a beautiful drive and tons of Civil War history. Lots of places to get out and walk. Our dogs loved it. Hard to believe this is right along I20. Wish the museum and exhibits had been open.

It Is what It Is
La Quinta by Wyndham VicksburgOlder, shabby property in need of an update. Good location with quite a bit of grass for the dogs. Majority of clients don’t pick up after their pets even though hotel provides bags and trash can. Bed was ok. Employees were nice. There is an additional $20 charge per pet. There are not a lot of choices in the area if you have dogs, but next time we will try someplace else.

Very Dog Friendly!
Lost Alaskan RV ParkThey have a fenced in dog park! yay! There are bits of grass located about, which is rare here. No stickers! (also rare!) There are lots of deer that aren’t afraid of humans in the area, so make sure your pets don’t bolt and give chase.

Conway's PetSafe Dog ParkEasy to get to. Ample parking. Nice off-leash park with big and small sides. Places for the humans to sit. Lots of trees.

Great Stop
Home2 Suites by Hilton ConwayStayed 1 night with our pups. Great location. Food and coffee within walking distance. Very clean. Little lobby store has sodas, ice cream, candy, and water. Nice area out back with a green belt, bags, and trash can. There is a pet fee per stay, but it was worth it to us!

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham McAlesterThe hotel is under renovation, but the staff was nice. The room was dated but clean. walking distance to a convenience store/gas station. The bed was comfortable. We stayed with our 3 dogs for 1 night. Note that there is a charge per dog per stay.
