Beautiful hotel

The place is very nice. The historic building is beautiful. Pet-friendly rooms on 2nd floor have no view of the river, FYI. Rooms are plenty big for people and pets.

Have Appropriate Expectations

The management of the hotel was very nice. But this is the kind of hotel that is right next to an interstate, and it has exterior doors. If you travel enough, then you know what to expect. We could hear the guy's cell phone conversation in the next room until about 11 PM. There were a bunch of guys hanging around outside, which made me a little nervous.

On the bright side, the breakfast was good. They have an automatic pancake maker that I have never seen before. My kids love pancakes, so that hit the spot.
