Personal Favorite!
Mountain Shadows RestaurantWe LOVED this place! And so did our dog!! The patio was smaller but still gave us plenty of space for our dog. I always feel good about a place that offers to bring my dog water on a hot day. The food was great and the service was incredibly friendly. Not disappointed at all.
Loved It!
Rudy'sGreat food! The line was long, so it was a little intimidating but it moved much quicker than expected. The patio had plenty of space so we didn't feel crowded with our dog. We will definitely be going back!
Good Food
Bon Ton's CafeThe food was really good! However, the patio is rather crowded. We were lucky enough to get a table near the edge so that our dog had somewhere to lay. The people were very dog friendly and brought her water. My only complaint is that our waitress took 20+ minutes to even acknowledge our table yet walked by us numerous times to wait on the other tables in her section.
Not Impressed
Phantom Canyon Brewing CompanyUnfortunately I wasn't impressed with this restaurant. Their patio only had 6 tables in a very small space, so there wasn't really any room and they were high-top tables so we didn't have a space for our dog. It's a very popular restaurant so the patio fills up quickly and they wouldn't let us put our name on a table on the patio when we called ahead.
Tight Spaces
Manitou Cliff DwellingsThe Cliff Dwellings were very dog friendly - there wasn't a place we could go that she couldn't. However, the spaces were very tight, so it was sometimes hard to navigate with her, but the staff was friendly and she enjoyed the love. Not sure I would go back. The cliff dwellings were neat, but the internet made it seem like they were a lot larger and had more of them, a little disappointed with how little there was.
Awesome, but watch the altitude
Pikes Peak HighwayWe loved our trip to Pike's Peak and the staff loved our dog! The only thing I would caution dog owners about is the altitude, just keep an eye on your dog's breathing on the way up and once you get up there. Our dog did well but just something to keep in mind.
AMAZING
Garden of the GodsWe went to Garden of the Gods last week and absolutely loved it! Not only was it beautiful, but it was super dog friendly! Not only did my dog love it, but the staff loved her--there's no better feeling for a dog momma than that. We brought our own dog bags but there were stations with them and regular garbage cans. Plus, the paths were wide if we had to go past someone who was not totally sure about our dog or if we had to pass a family with another dog. Would definitely recommend and go back!
