Very good visit
Southern Oaks InnJust returned from Southern Oaks Inn for a Monday thru Wed stay. Wasn’t clear from some of the information I’d checked online but they do charge $20 for each night with a dog. We had our golden doodle with us. They placed us in a room close to the enclosed dog yard (nice sized and well maintained). Although we had our own food bowls they had included two bowls as well as a bed in the room. There is a train that runs three times a night so keep that in mind but it wasn’t very noticeable. Nice location with courtesy van service for both you and your furry friend into town. Would stay there again.

Great Location
Kimpton Brice Hotel an IHG HotelHeart of the river district downtown. Scenic, lots to do and see within walking distance from the hotel. Room was great, comfortable and they are very dog friendly. We had 2nd floor room easily accessible by the stairs (elevator was very slow).
We had our 90 lb golden doodle with us and we saw many other dogs enjoying their stay including a very well behaved and adorable Rottweiler so the hotel does not discriminate!
On the downside, with the all the Covid nonsense going around there was no free continental breakfast served up and no free coffee either. You could buy both from their restaurant. Parking was free in their garage across the street but I”m not sure that would be the case on our return trip as we did see signs for various parking rates throughout the hotel. Call first to double check the situation. We’d stay here again but would ask about our concerns first for clarification.
