Hampton Inn MadisonDecent rooms. The best inclusive breakfast on this route. Four bones rather than five because there is a pet fee and the prepaid king room was unavailable when we arrived.

A standalone hotel near a highway
Cobblestone Hotel & Suites HarborcreekThe room was clean which is essential. If you prefer quiet, ask for a room at the far end of the hall. My room was near the pool which was well-used by families. Dogs stay on the ground floor (of two floors). The breakfast was great nothing to write home about. Overpriced accommodations, in my opinion.

Restful establishment
Best Western Plus Mentor Cleveland NortheastThe doggie rooms are on the first floor, which is not always a plus, but in this case, it is fine! The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is accommodating. This hotel is worth a visit. Also, I learned about the Headlands State Park on Lake Erie. My dog and I spent an enjoyable hour and a half walking the trails. It is a 15m drive from the hotel.
