Great inside, but lots of litter on grounds
Ramada by Wyndham Sioux FallsOur room was very nice and clean, and the staff very helpful and courteous. The landscaping was very nice and well-maintained. However, we found the outdoor litter to be disgusting! When we took our dog outside, there were empty cans and bottles and other litter right by our patio door. The outdoor trash containers were overflowing. We were on the ground floor, and the lock on the sliding glass door to the patio was broken. Fortunately there was a metal security bar that could be put in place. I felt fairly safe since I was traveling with my boyfriend and his large dog, but if I had been traveling alone, I would have felt unsafe in that room. If they would deal with the trash/ litter problem and make sure the locks work, the hotel would be a very nice place to stay.
No real pet relief area.
Days Inn by Wyndham Memphis at GracelandThere was no designated pet relief area; when I inquired, I was told that "most people just take their dogs to the grass over there.“ The grassy area was tiny and there was no comfortable place to walk our dog. The area seemed like a high-crime area, so I wouldn't be comfortable wandering. We did appreciate that this hotel accommodated our 100 lb. dog. Our room was reasonably clean, but not immaculate.
