Not a Great Experience
PetSmart New LondonShowed up to the location for dog grooming services and I was a bit nervous as all three unoccupied employees were teenagers clearly working a summer job. Upon check in, I was told that my appointment was booked for a nail trim and shampoo. I booked a haircut. I was explicitly clear that my dog needed a haircut when the appointment was booked. I was told I would have to wait until September, but I had just wasted two hours and decided to leave.
Given the nature of COVID, and everyone being inconvenienced for one reason or another I was reluctant to call corporate. Everyone makes mistakes, I get it, but figured they should at least know so that it doesn't happen to someone else.
When I called corporate I said, " Hey, I hate to be" that guy" buy I just had a bad experience and I just want to register a complaint." The phone hung up. This was the corporate customer service line. For reference that is 1.888.839.9638.
Needless to say, what started as a moderate inconvenience, ended with their corporate customer service line throwing me the finger. There are a number of places you can get your dog groomed. I would highly advise against this location, and given my experience with corporate, anything requiring PetSmart customer service.
