Disappointed

Red Roof Inn PLUS Poughkeepsie

Well at first it seemed pleasant but then the front end was a bit nasty when I told her we was told we could check in at 1pm (we was there for a 7 day stay) once we got to the room we found it clean so that was comforting. But we found when raining the rain was leaking from the back hallway sealing as we went down the stairs, the none of their employees was wearing masks except the front desk. All the maids n workers did not wear them at all. A big sign on front door says no mask do not enter yet the front desk failed to maintain that ruling and many guest did not bother to wear the masks. Which by the way is law and this is a hotel for crying out loud ppl come from all over yet no one said anything. The vending machines was out the dryer was out and a horrible smell came from the hallways rugs upstairs where we was. This had been our favorite hotel for like two years but after the mask situation and how badly it’s fallen in its guest safely and comfort I’m sorry to say we will not be returning to this hotel again.. we are planning another stay for our anniversary next month but it will be to the hotel in front of them. So so disappointed.. best of luck and I hope my information helps u to bring these things up to date so u won’t loose anymore business. My spending was well over 800$... thank you for your time..
