Super Spot for People and Pets!
The Island Grille & Raw BarWe loved our meals; shrimp salad wrap with potato salad; tuna melt with fries, grouper sandwich with fries and a chicken breast for me dog. Service was outstanding - everyone was very friendly and attentive. The location is great too - it's in a marina and the large patio (half is covered) is next to the pool and water. Definetly will return!

Great Spot for People & Pets!
Old Salty DogThe food and service were excellent. We had a nice table on the covered patio and our server Omar, was super friendly and helpful. Parking is an issue, there are not many spots so we ended up in the private park garage that we had to pay for.

Super Lunch!
Seasons 52Wonderful large covered patio with super food and service. Our server Brian was very attentive and friendly, could not do enough for us and my dog. Three of us loved our food and my dog had a chicken breast. We really enjoyed lunch here and will definitely be back.

Walked Away Without Eating
La Piazza CafeI called ahead to make sure they were pet friendly and asked if there were seats available on the patio. I was told yes to both questions. After getting there I saw that none of the patio tables were occupied and asked for a table with shade. The hostess and a gentleman who worked there dragged a table about 30 feet away from the patio out into the courtyeard under a small tree with minimal shade. I asked why I couldn't sit on the patio and the gentleman said not everyone liked pets as much as he and I do. I said the place was empty and asked , why would he put me out there all by myself. He said it would be busy later. I advised him that I would not sit there in the middle of no where all by myself and would go to another restuarant a few doors away. When I left the other restaurant about an hour later, I saw that La Piazza had only a few tables occupied. This is not a pet friendly place.

New Affiliation/Management
Knights Inn AshlandStayed here recently and found out at check in that just three days before affiliation with Red Roof ended. I was too tired to keep driving so I stayed. I like Red Roof because they are pet friendly and don't charge a pet fee. Front desk people here who I presumed were new owners were very friendly and eager to accommodate me (and my dog at no extra charge). The place is run down and the room had only been superficially cleaned for a long time. But it was OK for one night at a good price. I saw many workers from a variety of professions with a lot of equipment making all kinds of repairs (e.g. underground pipes, landscaping). I'm sure it will earn more bones in time as the new owners have time to make the necessary repairs and upgrades. Good location.

Disappointed
Kreggers Tap and TableBased upon the reviews and the menu I saw on line I looked forward to a great dinner here! I was told all the tables under cover with fans were reserved for a large party. During the entire hour I was there the large party never showed up. My pup and I were sent to the back patio that had ubmbrellas but offered little shade and no fans. I asked for the shrimp and grits which I saw on the menu on their website and was told it was only available weekends. I got a salad, my dog had a burger. Both were nice. Our server was super pleasant. No need to go back.

Great Pizza, Super Service
Ruby's by the SeaI was a little skeptical about trying Ruby's as I'd never heard anyone mention it. My dog & I received a royal welcome and were the beneficiaries of delicious NY style pizza! Definitely will return!

Great Pub Food
Flanigan's Seafood Bar & GrillThe wings and ribs are very, very good! Pets are welcome in the outside area which is quite large. Lots of picnic tables under a tent in their parking lot. Sometimes the service is not great and it's not very relaxing sitting in a parking lot with cars coming and going. I prefer to take my orders to go.

Dubliner Irish PubThe large patio has many tables all open to pets & their people! Nice location over looking the "green" and people passing by are friendly. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is typical Irish Pub fare and quite delicious! After dinner (or brunch on Sunday) it's nice to walk around Mizner Park with your pup.

Horrible Customer Service
Happy Hound Dog ResortsMy first experience with Happy Hounds Dog Resorts in Jacksonville was unusual and a first for me. When I arrived at the appointed time to leave my dog for his boarding reservation the facility was dark, locked and no one was there. There was no sign on the door that opening was delayed, hours were changed, etc. Several of us were left standing in the parking area with our dogs. After about 15 minutes an employee came to open the doors and apologized for the delay. This was late afternoon, well before closing hours. As the employee was very nice, things happen and my dog appeared to enjoy his overnight stay I contacted them again via their own autmated reservation system on Friday, July 23 to request boarding in early August. I received a text they would get back to me as soon as possible. Today (4 days later) I replied to their own text asking when I might receive a response to my reservation request. After going back and forth twice via text , here is the final response I received from Happy Hounds Resorts via text: "We don't always check texts. We do however answer all calls made during normal operating hours. We've been doing so for 7 years and are full most weekends, so we must be doing something right.... you might be better off elsewhere..."
This person clearly didn't even understand how their own reservation worked, could not have been more rude if they tried but got one thing right - I'm better off at another place.

Delicious Food! Pet Friendly!
Galuppi'sGaluppi's is a super place for everyone and their their pets! They have a large menu that offers breakfast, lunch, happy hour specials and dinner. The food is delicious, the bars are lively, the patio is spacious and very pet friendly!

Very Nice and Good Location
Lorien Hotel & SpaHotel is very pretty, staff is wonderful! Not ideal for a solo traveler with a dog in cold weather. Only alternative was room service for dinner and the food was not good at all. They did comp me a dessert when I told them that. Parking is very expensive.

Hidden Gem
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Palm Coast I-95Nice quiet location very close to lots of restaurants, stores, etc. Plenty of space to walk your dog. Front desk team was super friendly as were most of the guests. Breakfast was the "usual" but, there was a gentleman overseeing everything and greeting everyone to ensure nothing ran out, no one;s toast burned, etc. Such a nice extra touch!

Very Nice!
Comfort Inn & SuitesFront desk staff and every staff member I met was so friendly! My dog is normally shy and he was at ease with them! The room we had was lovely, very clean and well maintained. There was enough space around the parking lot to walk my dog. Hotel location is very convenient. In my road trip from CT - FL this was the most expensive of the hotels I stayed in of the same caliber.

Good Stay
Days Inn by Wyndham St Augustine I-95/Outlet MallSuper nice lobby staff! Room was fine, very clean and well maintained. No complaints at all! Plenty of space around the property to walk my dog. But, had to be careful to avoid some construction materials left around. There is an IHOP off the lobby which I didn't visit but. it's a nice convenience.
