La Quinta by Wyndham St. GeorgeMy service dog, Miles and I, stayed here on the way to Denver and on the way back. The room during both stays was very comfortable, clean and both had a nice view of the rock bluff behind the hotel and not the highway on the other side of the property. The staff was very accommodating. It may have been better for my access needs if it were on the first floor, but the second floor worked out fine. There were plenty of options for Miles to walk and take care of his business.
Miles, my furry partner, gave 2 paws up and said that it was a very comfortable room for him. We will stay again.

Comfortable accomadations
Red Roof Inn Grand JunctionThe staff was courteous and pleasant. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant was nice and the food was very good. My Service Dog was treated with respect. I will use the Red Roof Inn when I travel again.

Road Construction obstructions
Wolfe's Hotel MoabI arrived in Moab to extensive road reconstruction and found that the driveway to the motel was closed and the alternate driveway had a bulldozer blocking the entrance as well as a trench about 20 feet wide and two feet deep. I parked on the next block and walked to search for an alternative entrance. I finally was able to drive through the mud of the construction equipment yard in back of the hotel. Management was not very receptive to the problems that all their guest were having. They said, "Yeah it is bad, I can sometimes get here through the gas station."
There were several other guest on their cell phones attempting to make last minute changes to their reservation so they could get into another motel.
The room was on the ground floor, which is a plus but it smelled strange and the TV had no picture, only audio that could not be adjusted. Also, the room decor looked like it was last updated in the 1990s.
I am handicapped and I need accommodations that allow my service dog as well as easy access. This access was not at all easy.
Perhaps after the construction is completed, it will be better, but overall, not a good experience.
