Third time in the past year
Best Western Canton InnIt is still clean, Covid safe, comfortable, plenty of dog walking area, could walk to several restaurants. Stay #2 we were on the front side of the hotel. Too noisy with the road traffic and the TV didn’t work. This time I called ahead to get a room on the back side. Unfortunately, the AC unit was horrendously noisy. Worst of the 3 stays. Will stay again if we do a 3rd annual cross country trip in 2022.

Pet friendly Hilton Brand yay!!
Hampton Inn Mobile-East Bay/DaphneJumped at the opportunity to book a pet friendly Hampton Inn! Hotel was easy to get to, enough restaurants nearby. Rooms were spacious, beds comfy. Basically clean except for the petrified chicken nugget the dachshund found!! Needs a designated walk area with poop bags. That flat area behind the hotel needs lighting but would make a good area! Appreciated the front desk clerk following up about the tractor trailer that was running out front and seemed abandoned. It was gone later, thankfully.

Not sure we will stay again
Quality Inn Crestview Near Eglin AFBFrom the paw perspective it was great with lots of walking areas. From the people perspective, not so much:
—Never gave me the wifi log in and pword at check in
—crappy internet (1 bar)
—tv only had one channel. (Luckily it played movies)
—hall carpet is filthy (we stayed here a year ago. Ever cleaned?)
—card reader for door by our room didn’t work until later in the evening when it was fixed (something went right)
—one bar of soap?
—this is the best one….8:55pm and they’re vacuuming the hall?!?!
From the dogs perspective it was great with plenty of walking area.

All around great!
Best Western Moriarty Heritage InnWe were traveling with our dogs from Florida, heading back home to Arizona. This was our last overnight stop. Everything fell into place!

We would stay again
La Quinta by Wyndham MobileThe hotel was relatively easy in and off I65. Not sure about the cleanliness given the hallway had a lot of litter on the floor. I used sanitizing wipes in everything when we first entered. Bed frames are metal and very squeaky. You can hear everyone else’s bed as well. Sounds like someone walking on a hard surface floor with heels all night. Doors slam shut. When will hotels figure this out?

Pretty Bad
Super 8 by Wyndham Cantonreserved through Fido. saw the one (only) bad review. should’ve believed it. erroneously booked smoking. front desk person said he could give us non-smoking. Didn’t. people smoking in the next room came through under the connecting room door. A towel under the door took care of that. bathroom has black mold on tub fixtures and run bottom. shower dial coming off wall. no drain traps in tub or sink. refrigerator did not work. will spend more money and stay elsewhere. done with Super 8. Final touch was the noisy family next to us (the smokers). luck of the draw there.
