Nice owner, cute idea, needs a little work.

Our latest stay(Dec17 2020) we had room 7 this time and it was nice. There was two super comfortable beds, a mini fridge and a microwave. After staying here before we know about the floors and brought a moving blanket to cover the floor for our big boy with bad hips. It worked great. I love this dog friendly little motel.

I want to start by saying the owners are super nice and I would stay there again. It was such a cute place with the great retro feel. The beds and linens were clean and very comfortable. They had a lovely little outside green area for walking dogs and enjoying outside. Now that being said there were several things that could be improved upon. The cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better. The refrigerator leaked and must have been leaking for a while as the floor and trim in front were damaged and the bottom of frig door was rusted also. The floors were laminate which is nice for cleaning when pets are allowed but there was no type of rug or runner and our big dog couldn’t get footing on the slick laminate floor so we had to use a Bath room towel and he had to stay on it to be able to stand. Wouldnt really say that’s their fault but maybe mention it in ad so fur mommas can come prepared. Bottom line....we would stay there again because they are so so friendly and allow all sizes dogs with no discrimination of our 127 pound Anatolian/Pyrenees. Also the location is great and they allow pets to be left in room so Mom and Dad can have dinner without fur babies. That really makes the stay great. Another great aspect of this cute kitschy motel is the parking right in front of your room. You can really get the feel for what a great place this was in its hay day.

Super nice owner/manager. Clean and safe.

We had reserved at another hotel first but it was so horrible we couldn’t stay there it was not safe to say the least but then we found this place and it was wonderful. We were treated with kindness and care and give on a wonderful room. The rooms show a little wear but the room was very clean.

Would give a zero bone if I could

This place was horrible at the best. I have never seen a more disgusting place. Now I wasn’t expecting much but a clean room and bathroom without mold and holes in the walls. Not to mention the permanent residents and cars on blocks. It was not clean enough for dog or human.
