Great Location

Located at the Ventura Marina on the second floor overlooking the harbor. Spent day at beach across the street with the pup, then came here for a quick bite. Wait staff very friendly and attentive. Food was quick. Dog friendly on the patio. They brought us bowl of water and even small plate of plain grilled chicken upon request. Be advised that it is located on the second floor, so dogs have to walk up stairs to the restaurant.

Very Dog Friendly

Stayed here for a few days in October 2019. Had an oceanfront room on the first floor. The room was very large with a King size bed and sofabed. The room came with a dog blanket, food bowl and treats. There was a private balcony looking out to the ocean where the dogs could sunbathe. The grassy area directly out back for the dogs to relieve themselves, and it was close to dog-friendly restaurants, beach and play area. Would recommend for a great view and dog friendly.

Large and all grass

Very large grassy area. Has trees lining the perimeter with a few benches inside the fences. Large enough to have multiple large dogs fetching and they never have to interact if you want.

Grassy dog park

Has a large and small dog area with good amount of grass and shade. Few water spigots and bowls. Lots of tennis balls to play with. No other dogs in large park while we were there. Big enough to throw the ball and let them run. Go towards the tennis area on the north side to find the entrance

Off the leash fun

Took the dogs to this off the leash beach. Its located between the 2nd and 3rd piers past the Cal Poly private pier and before Diablo Canyon. Go across the bridge on Avila Beach Dr and past the golf course. I think its called Olde Port Beach. Its completely off the leash with lots of dogs, big and small enjoying the hard packed sand and smaller waves. You park along the roadway and use a couple of stairs leading down to the sand. Was relatively clean and all dogs seemed well behaved. After the beach you can walk the boardwalk and grab a bite to eat at some of the pet friendly restaurants.

Quiet dog beach

Stopped in here to let the dogs burn off some energy and play in the ocean. Very few people at ocean. Saw numerous dogs running around. Most people had them off leash, while some kept them on. Clean beach, nice hard packed sand to run on. Fun, quiet little town to take the dogs too.

Good Service

Gave us the option on outdoor seating facing the street. They have tables inside the enclosed patio or on the sidewalk if your pups are a little antisocial. Good cantina mexican food with a big menu for dinner. They offer breakfast/brunch. Alcohol is only wine and beer. So if your looking for classic margarita its made with tequila flavored soju.

Large dog patio

Bar setting on the boardwalk over looking bay. Outdoor bar top/high chair seating. Had dog water bowls scattered around patio we helped ourselves to. You have to order food inside at bar and they deliver to your table. Food is typical bar food. Finger foods, sandwiches, burgers, full bar. It looks like they share kitchen with Custom House next door. Good for a quick bite with the dogs after a day at local off the leash beach.

Large dog patio

Restaurant has a very large dog friendly patio along the boarwalk. Has heaters although we didnt need them. They brought us water bowl and have a dog menu if you ask. They even have a dog dessert of peanut butter ice cream. Food and drink choices were plenty and food was tasty.

Very Doggy Friendly

Good size outdoor patio along street side. Food was good and service was better. Dog bowls offered upon seating and a dig menu. Burger, Chicken. Definitely recommend if in Cayucos.

Great service, great food.

Sat on patio underneath heaters. Very comfortable and pleasant even in earlier March. Hostess and server very friendly. Brought two cups of water for dogs without asking. Service was prompt and friendly. Food and cocktails were great. Worked out perfect even with two large 1 year old Golden Retrievers still in social training.
