Very nice but

The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly. I can't give it 5 bones because of a few things. First, we brought our dog and there was a horrid smell on the 4th floor (which is where they put people who bring pets). I think they were trying to get rid of it while we were there. The rooms are quite banged up/show signs of wear and tear. They are also quite stark....not much on the walls. There is no refrigerator in the rooms. Seeing as how the restaurant and bar were closed while we were there you would think this could be something they would provide.

Without COVID I think the stay would have been better, minus the worn look to the place and the smell. The location is definitely the highlight of this place!
