Will Be Back

Candlewood Suites Texarkana an IHG Hotel

Texarkana is not much to write home about, but we were just passing through. HUGE suites, comfy bed, lots of amenities. I will be staying with my animals at Candlewood again in the future for sure!

Awful, Awful, Awful

La Quinta by Wyndham Nashville Airport

First of all, it was CROWDED during a pandemic. Though it seemed as if everyone was following proper CDC Guidelines, it still wasn't a great start to see a packed lobby. Secondly, our room was not clean. There was some strange crusty stain on the bed, it was incredibly musty in there (my cat has asthma so we were up a lot of the night checking her breathing), and it was FREEZING cold. My spouse and I were snuggled so tight with our dog to keep warm. The heater was broken and there was no real comforter on the bed, only a few thin sheets. Outside the window was like being at a NASCAR race with cars' bright lights and loud engines all night. It was hard to keep our dog quiet. So you make your sign a waiver saying they have the right to remove us if our dog barks too much, but there's no waiver about running your car's headlights, aimed at hotel windows all night? We had just come off of six hours of driving and were looking at 8 more in the morning. This was not restful.

GREAT!

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Pittsburgh Airport

The front desk was super friendly and were very welcoming towards our dog and cat. My opinion might be a little skewed since the hotel we stayed at the night before was so horrendous that being treated decently seemed just that much greater. The room was clean and spacious and right by the back entrance so it made getting our two animals and our stuff to and from the car so much easier.

Great!

Comfort Inn & Suites Airport

Clean rooms, took the Covid-19 pandemic seriously. The security was great as you need a key card to enter the building. Upon arrival, they gave us a dog bowl and treats and were welcoming to our dog and our cat.
