Not the best location

We were recommended to this hotel because the hotel was recently renovated and my husband took a tour of the facilities as a member of our local chamber of commerce. The rooms were nothing like we saw on the website. Our room was in the back of the hotel and if a single woman best not to go at night because it is not well lit. It appears in this part of the hotel it is part storage and part long-term residential occupants. Anyone smoking outside or above you from the balcony comes right into your room. The only good part was that there was grass out the back door for the dog to walk on and do his business and the room did not have carpeting. Not what I had expected at all. Maybe OK for a night but not an extended stay which we had to endure because our home was being renovated.
