So many animals
Greenville County Animal CareGCAC takes in so many animals. I’ve gone to visit and it’s just amazing how big their shelter is. They have an area where you can walk the dogs, a separate cat area, a clinic area, and they always seem to have puppies and small dogs which are generally what is in demand. They really have so many animals to choose from.

Their clinic is great
Greenville Humane SocietyIt’s very clean and low cost. I’ve taken kittens there for basic stuff like combo test, fvrcp shot, rabies shot, flea preventative and dewormer. And I’ve seen many people come and go with cats and dogs for a variety of services. The staff are also really friendly.

Cute botanical garden
South Carolina Botanical GardensI have yet to bring my dog here but I have gone to visit on my own and it’s quite nice. very excited to know dogs are allowed though! This garden is great because it has plenty of places to lounge or hike. it’s across from Clemson University. And my favorite part is that they have a butterfly garden with all kinds of flowers including milkweed that attract tons of butterflies. I really enjoyed the view.

Best dog park ever
Conestee Dog ParkThis is a great dog park situated within Conestee Park. The park itself has playgrounds, trails, sports fields, shelter areas and restrooms. The dog park is wonderful because it’s big enough for the dogs to run wild. lots of trees for shade. lots of benches for the humans to sit. plenty of trash area to throw poo bags. the dogs always seem to happy and excited to be there. I literally have to drag my dog out because he doesn’t want to leave. And I’ve spent easily 2-3 hours in this park while he romped around. Also, Dillard’s Ice Cream is down the road if you want a treat.
