One of the nicest dog parks!
Dog Park at Jack Benson Heritage ParkWe stopped in here on our recent road trip and were quite impressed. Because it was so cold, the grass was still icy and there were no other dogs present, but our pups had fun checking out the agility equipment and ‘watering‘ the trees. Human bathrooms were convenient and there’s ample parking. Nice local neighborhood.

Real Nice park with friendly local dogs!
Camellia City Bark ParkWe recently stopped in while visiting family in town on a road trip, and were greeted by a large group of super friendly dogs, who thankfully tired our giant puppy out! Lots of shade, water & human seating. Seemed like everyone picked up after their dogs, as it was very clean. Small dog area was empty but seemed quite spacious. We look forward to visiting again when we’re in town!

Keep Driving...
Brown Memorial Dog ParkThis dog park is right off I-10, so it’s convenient if you’re on a road trip (take the 1st entrance to the Park, right before large parking lot), but that’s the best thing going for it. I’m sure it’s a nice place to run when it’s not a giant mud puddle. Unfortunately, there were aggressive dogs present (Not sure if one of their females was in heat, but all the large males were acting unhinged) but it was too sketchy for our tastes, so we decided to cut our dogs visit short as soon as they finished their business. Next time, we’ll find another spot. Neighborhood is run down, but we weren’t there long.
