Good Value for Money

Drury Inn & Suites Springfield IL

We were just passing through so the Drury Inn was a good stop for us with our medium/Large size dog. Easy access to a large grassy area is always a key and they have that. The Breakfast was outstanding and much appreciated. The property was very clean. The furnishings were a bit outdated, the carpeting quite old and a bit of a musty smell in the room. But for our purposes it was fine and we really appreciated the extra room in the King Suite with our dog Riley. There were also lots of nice amenities which we didn't have time to enjoy.

Good stay

Coronado Motor Hotel a Travelodge by Wyndham

The room was very neat and clean, though furnished with older furnishings. There was no large grassy area for the dog but we managed. The staff was very very nice. We took the largest room they had on the property which gave us room to play with the dog at night. (300 sq ft) We’d definitely stay there again.

PERFECTION

Blue Sands Inn a Kirkwood Collection Hotel

This motel has been remodeled from tip to tree and is really cute California or Bohemian vibe. The location can not be beat with a park right across the street for the dog. If you want to cross the busier street at the corner you are right on the beach. Really lovely motel and the staff was great. We will definitely return here any time we are in Santa Barbara.

I can see why the reviews are 50/50.

Hotel Parq Central

We noticed that the other reviews were swinging between Love and Hate for this property. Our experience was good, not great. The building is beautiful. The owners put a lot into the restoration and remodel and it shows. Modern, clean and inviting public spaces. The pet friendly room was perfect, very comfortable and it was very clean. Access to a grassy area was the best we’ve seen in any hotel. That said... We were traveling during Covid restrictions but that doesn’t really explain away all of this... We arrived to no bellman, not cart. Traveling with a Dog, Dog Crate, Dog food, and all our own luggage. They have a Bell Cart but can’t find it.... No offer of help. We sheep it all to our room on our own. Oh - and no fuzzy warm greeting for us nor our pet. No swag bag for the pet like we saw in other reviews. The receptionist sort of shoved a small toy toward us with one small milk one and a few Poop bags. That was it. No conversation about how cute our Dog Riley is, now “what’s his name?” Nothing. Later we discovered the onsite restarant was closed and we could not get access to a microwave.

Riley loved the Colcord Hotel and they loved him right back!

Colcord Hotel Oklahoma City Curio Collection by Hilton

The stay was fantastic. We booked a corner room which gave Riley an it more room to move around in. We loved the easy access to grassy space (right outside the front door) but also the botanical garden across the street was beautiful. The Scissors park sown by the Skydance Bridge was a big hit and it has a dog park. Easy walking to the attractions we wanted to see. Only five or six blocks to the Oklahoma City National Memorial - very moving and a must see. All of the staff were really nice to Riley and he loved it there. Five Bones for sure.
