Quiet & Clean, Great Location!

Located between the Garden Stare Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike, this was an easy off/on halfway through my 2-day driving trip. The lobby, hallways, and room were clean and smelled fresh. Overall it was quiet and relaxing - exactly what was needed after a day of driving. The room was large enough to not feel cramped. Red Robin restaurant is located next door. The dog relief area was nearly 100% clean of unscooped poop - a first in my travels this summer.

This was my pup’s and my first stay there; if all La Quinta’s are like this, the brand will be my go-to wherever possible! Interaction with hotel staff was limited (as was the presumably pandemic-influenced[?] breakfast offerings), however, other than the front desk person when we departed (who was efficient yet not too friendly), staff were pleasant and welcoming. As a diabetic, the breakfast offerings were too carb-laden to be healthy, appropriate choices. That was a disappointment but not a dealbreaker in my pup’s and my overall positive experience at this La Quinta.
