Very Walkabke
Motel 6 San Antonio TX - Downtown - Market Squarethis Motel 6 was clean and close to the heart of San Antonio. we stayed 2 nights and really liked it. dont miss market square which is 2 blocka away and is a nice mexican-american cultural area. also this place had doggie bags and some small grassy areas

Clean & renovated but NOISY
Motel 6 Houston TX - Medical Center/NRG StadiumWe stayed 2 nights in this place. Positives: clean, renovated room. Close to Central Houston. Some small lawn areas for doggie bathroom time. Negatives: the highway noise is LOUD and the first night our neighbors were yelling, so we hardly got any sleep. Also, the speeding traffic in front of this location is scary. We saw two crashes in one day in front of the hotel. Also no fridge & no microwave.

Great for exploring New Orleans
St Charles InnJust spent 4 nights in this hotel. Its really great for people and dogs. There’s a green space next to the hotel for doggy relief, free secured parking, and free to go breakfast. its also directly next the Garden District which is a great place to walk the dog and explore New Orleans history. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. And directly on the streetcar line. We left our dog in the room and took the streetcar down to the french quarter. This place was an excellent home base for New Orleans. would stay again 100%.

Fantastic
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham LaGrange / I-85We stayed here one night with our large lab. Great service and great facility. Free parking, free breakfast and a nice grassy area for the dog to run in the back.
