Old, uncomfortable mattresses
Motel 6 WendoverI think the pet owners get the worst rooms; the mattresses should have been replaced 10 years ago, the pet rooms were at the farthest end of the motel with a dirty parking lot and dead, weedy pet area surrounding the lot. My dog got goathead thorns in her feet constantly. The only reason I'm giving an okay rating is the manager let me add an extra night without having to change rooms, and a convenient location while I got some repairs on my vehicle at the shop next door.

Wonderful staff and management
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham ColumbiaThis was the cleanest-smelling LA Quinta I have ever been to. The staff were pleasant and friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. I was forced to stay an extended length of time for unexpected vehicle repairs so became familiar with the employees, who seemed to all have a good work ethic...engaging themselves with upkeep and maintenance of the facility, yet able to interrupt their task at hand to answer questions or provide assistance with a smile. Thank you, Columbus MO La Quinta crew! You made an unpleasant situation bearable.

Pleasant stay near airport.
Aloft Phoenix AirportNice hotel in a somewhat sketchy area of Phoenix, staff recommended that I dont go outside alone. My doggie learned how to use the elevator here, nice room was on second floor. Lots of amenities in the room...phone charging station, blow dryer, ironing board, coffee, microwave, fridge, beautiful bathroom area, big tv. Lounge and bar on main floor, convenience store next door. Friendly, helpful staff.
