Our Pups Happy Place
Asilomar State BeachWe love Pacific Grove so for our dogs first beach outing we took them to Asilomar Beach. They love every minute of hanging out at Asilomar on the different beach areas and the nice hiking trail. While it is true we have come across some dogs off leash, it is not that many and they never bother us or our dogs. Everyone on the beach has been very nice and pleasant to us. The beach is clean and everyone cleans up after their dogs.

Easy Dog Friendly Hiking
Mission Trail ParkRight in the center of the city of Carmel is this hidden gem. Plenty of easy hiking trails, short but they wind around on each other to make the hike as short or long as you wish with many variations. There are some hills, but they are short with easy grades. We came across friendly people, mostly locals, walking their own dogs while maintaining distance as needed. The end of the trail where the Carmel Mission is has very little parking. We were fortunate to park at one of the other locations.

Nice Wine and Pleasant People
Galante Vineyards Tasting RoomWe had a lovely tasting experience here, good wine and they love dogs! Ask for seating on the patio, as the current street seating during Covid is not level and can be a little precarious.

Dog Friendly Deliciousness
Hog's Breath InnLoved this place! Great service, delicious food, beautiful ambiance of patio dining where we were never cold as there was plenty of outdoor heaters and fireplaces. As a side note they completely cater to the pampered pooch including providing your pup with their own menu to order from.

Decent Inn for the Price
Monterey Peninsula InnThis is not a 5 star resort, however it is a decent enough place, clean, pleasant staff, and reasonably priced with good location. The fire pit area was open and nice, but not very big and too many people were already there to allow us usage.
Cons are that the bed was uncomfortable for us, room and door to the room was not well insulated, and there was rust on the bathtub. Hot tub currently not available for usage due to Covid.
