I Don’t recommend
Best Friends Pet HotelWe were so disappointed this place got good reviews we took our dog there in feb while we went to Disney we came there everyday to spend time with him - when I booked I explained he needs a lot of attention he is a picky eater I brought all his food with instructions - we paid for all the extras needed - the cam was down most of the time so I had to call them to find out how he was they told me he wasn’t eating so when we came to visit which was every day we brought him food only to find out when his stay was over he was only being fed when we came all the food we brought was sent back home with him they didn’t even try (absolutely unacceptable)my dog lost about 15 pounds we couldn’t see because he wears a shirt he has no hair so when we came he was in his shirt everyday - and when he came home he came home with kennel nose and a foot infection and about 15 pounds underweight thank god our trip was short -I would definitely not recommend especially till they hire more staff they were very under staffed wait times were way too long it was just not an experience I would ever do again nor recommend we were very disappointed the girl did call about a week later because I emailed them directly to let them know our experience and how upset I was and all we got was some dogs don’t do well and shouldn’t be kenneled - not an answer we expected especially from a place that prides itself on the welfare of one s pet -I am sorry but No animal should come back from a place you pay to care for your pet come back they way mine did very sad. This place employed Inexperienced, overwhelmed staff —it took about 6 weeks for my dog to be back to normal unbelievable no way should a pet come back like this .I don’t recommend at all!

Not so dog friendly and room was dirty
Hampton Inn DunnThe room we had was on third floor not dog friendly at all especially when they have to keep going on elevator to go out it should be on first floor very limited dog space outside but this was not the biggest issue for us -the biggest complaint I have is that the room wasn’t clean at all there was a lot of dust everywhere -tub not clean the lotion bottle was used and the room had hand prints all over and the seal on the door was in the middle of the room upon our arrival not covid friendly at all bed sheets didn’t fit bed at all :/ -thank god I had Lysol with me because we where too tired to leave but I would have if we weren’t so tired after a long drive -sad because they are right off 1-95 but I won’t be staying there again. A little disappointed 😞

Great spot
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Newark - ElktonThe place was very clean staff very nice and accommodating my dog is skittish and I asked for a room near outside entrance and location off the 95 was great perfect for a stop over only downside is not enough area to walk the dog but I can deal with that we will be back
