Lots of homeless people around, sketchy area
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Central Point - MedfordFront desk staff was nice. My room was off in a weird spot from the outside--had to go down a walkway that the general public couldn't see from the parking lot--hard to explain, but I didn't feel safe as a female walking there. I think it was room 110. At least I had a German Shepherd with me though.

Nice hotel!
Candlewood Suites Columbia East an IHG HotelClean, nicely decorated, friendly staff. Even microwave popcorn provided in the room.

Stuff stolen out of my truck in less than 8 hours of arrival
Motel 6 Salinas CA - North Monterey AreaA male registered guest at the hotel drove around to my truck and stole my BBQ, propane tank, etc at 1:30am. I noticed these items missing at 8:30am though. The manager reviewed the tapes and confirmed this and she called the police. I also called them and made a report. We are dire evacuees too, so it makes this feel worse. No arrest that I’ve heard so far. This place has a lot of crime (murders, theft, gang activity). I wish I would’ve known.
