Decent hotel
Best Western Plus Indianapolis North at PyramidsGeneral location felt a bit sketchy. Staff was polite if uninterested. Room was great, beds were clean and comfy. Shower pressure was fine, shower head was decent unless you're tall. Pool was drained and elevator was broken. So our 4th floor room with a pet was more of a pain then planned. No idea about their breakfast, left without checking it out.

Decent location
Sleep Inn Historic WilliamsburgBetween 3 or 4 bones.. leaning towards 3. Check-in was easy, only spoke with 1 staff and they were great. Their pet rules are fine. We have a VERY quiet dog, so no issues. The room had a heavy wet smell to it, slight dog pee smell if I am being honest. We were staying for a few days so we got a few room scent things from Walgreens and sprayed the carpet with Pet Febreeze, made it more tolerable. Haven't tried the breakfast, no plans to. Beds were comfy, shower pressure was weak. I think it's like a lot of other places with clogged up shower heads. Used their laundry which worked well, appreciated that being available. Their pool is basic but good for a quick swim. They have a Golden Corral and Cracker Barrel across the parking lots, FWIW. Probably won't ever be in the area again, but if I was I'd consider staying here again if I got a different/better room. The moisture issue may just be the location with humidity.

Great stay
Hampton Inn & Suites OleanStayed for 2 nights on my way through town, had no problems. Room was on the 2rd floor, odd for a pet room but was fine. Bed was great, comfy. Shower was good. Staff was fine, no issues. Plenty of room to walk the dog and places to eat\gas nearby. Would stay again if I was in the area.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Des Moines West CliveGreat bed, dog friendly. Perfect for my one night passing through. Recently renovated, clean rooms.

Great experience, enjoyed it
Rabbit Ears MotelHotel is near the main road right across from the (lackluster) water "park". Room was good, bed was comfy. We also got a 2nd floor room with a view. Employees were good, helpful with no problems. Skipped room cleaning, my choice. Lots of places (food, shopping, etc) to walk to, right across a parking lot from Natural Grocers which was a win. Fridge and microwave worked fine, AC was cold. Suggestion: if you plan to visit with a pup think about doggy day care with Peace and Love Petcare. Have your vaccine records for the dogs and plan ahead as they do a visit to be sure your dog fits in. We had our lab there for a few days while we were in town and it worked out very well. They were great. Overall, perfect experience.

La Quinta by Wyndham Glenwood SpringsHotel is near a main road, but it was good for us. First floor (told those were mainly for pets) and the room was clean. Shower water pressure was good, AC worked well. We were there for a few days and skipped room cleaning, my choice. Walking distance to all the things needed. Employees I dealt with were nice and helpful.
