Disappointing
Residence Inn by Marriott BakersfieldNot what I expected from a Residence Inn. A lot of homeless people wandering around the hotel area. I was attacked by a feral cat just outside my room. The room clearly was in need of updating as the carpet was very worn and kitchen was not clean. We found a used soda can the sink, the kitchen counter had a sticky substance on it, and the little table by the couch was bent and the top appeared to have been glued with sticky residue on the top. We would not stay there again.

Great location
TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Jose CampbellThis location was under renovation and still delighted us. The room was excellent, very clean, good mattress, everything looked relatively new. The employees very nice, helpful, and friendly. Adjacent to hotel is the Los Gatos creek with a walking path that follows the creek for several miles north or south. There is also a park behind the hotel on the other side of the creek. Great place to stay for both us and the dog. We would definitely stay here again.
