Dog Friendly
Concord's Colonial InnWe took our pup here and the staff was very helpful and pleasant! The only downfall is stairs. Still worth the stay, and would visit again.
The WORST experience
Baymont by Wyndham ElkhartWe booked the jacuzzi room after driving forever because we needed a chance to relax. I was kind enough to remind her we had a service dog and she said we couldn’t have the jacuzzi room and she couldn’t refund the difference. Even the manager rolled his eyes at us. The RUDEST staff I have EVER encountered at a hotel. Also walked in on the manager bad talking a tenant to another guest. Do NOT bring your business here!
Decent!
Courtyard by Marriott Woburn/Boston NorthHotel was pet friendly and was located close to Salem, which was our goal. The only complaints were that no one picked up after their dog on the tiny grass patch and housekeeping left dirty underwear from the previous guest in the shower...
Best for pets in Salem
Hawthorne HotelWe originally tried The Merchant and they are NOT pet friendly. They scoffed at our service dog in training. Hawthorne is right next to the common (park) and has an entire floor for pets! Clean, great location, and quiet.
Very noisy!
Admiral Fell Inn Baltimore Harbor Ascend Hotel CollectionStayed here on a Tuesday night. we had a corner room. Not only were the walls paper thin, the bar across the street had insanely loud music until after midnight. There are also a ton of dogs barking all up and down the street at random times. The inn itself was lovely, but the parking and location in general made it not worth it at all.
Lovely!
Salem CommonRecommended by our tour guide. We took our pup here on a 30ft leash and she had a ball. Tons of local dogs to meet! Clean and beautiful.
Best souvenirs!
The Trolley DepotThey LOVE doggos! Trixie even got a treat from the shop keeper. This is also the best place in Salem for souvenirs. (Price and Selection)
Best treats!
New England Dog Biscuit CompanyThey offer unique treats! Their brand of treats were not over processed like the name brands, reasonably priced, and our Great Dane pup devoured them!
