Great hotel and staff
Quirk Hotel CharlottesvilleThe hotel is upscale, contemporary with cool art on the walls and a gallery space. It has a nice looking bar and restaurant. The room was very nice. There is a small park about two blocks away to walk the dog. It’s an easy walk (< 1 mile) to the downtown mall. The only con; $25 per night (plus tips) valet parking.

Great location
Red Roof Inn PLUS+ StatesvilleRight off interstate 77, close to restaurants gas stations etc. The property was nicely maintained the room was clean the front desk personnel were friendly.

Lots of space to walk the dog
SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western WythevilleI expected more for double the price of Red Roof. It was clean but worn.

Nice hotel but...
Best Western Plus Shamrock Inn & SuitesNice hotel clean & comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low. The shower and the wet bar pressure was fine. Most of the satellite tv stations were unavailable. Staff offered us a $10.00 discount. Very limited selection for dining. McDonalds came through.

Nice Hotel
Best Western Plus Rio Grande InnRestaurant in the hotel and a few others within walking distance. Less than a mile walk to Old Town. Free made to order breakfast was good. Staff very friendly, good Covid protocols

Great Location
Hampton Inn Phoenix AnthemGood restaurants nearby. Anthem Community Park is an outstanding place for a walk with the dog.
