Great Food
Thai Staunton RestaurantVisited Thai Stauntan tonight with our doggie. This is a family owned and run restaurant. The inside is very nice. The food was exceptionally good. The duck rolls should not be missed. Delicious. Our dog enjoyed having dinner with us on the covered patio. It was cold, so a heater would have been really nice. Besides us being cold, it was a really good meal.
Great Stay
ARRIVE MemphisThe staff and facility are very dog friendly and most helpful. They allowed dogs to sit with their owners in the bar. There was a relief area right across the street from the hotel, which was very convenient. There is also a dog park several blocks away, but since my dog is very small and not a romper, we never visited it. Uber allowed us to take our dog in her purse to the Peabody Hotel for her first carriage ride. Our dog is very well behaved and our carriage driver allowed her to ride. I would not recommend the carriage ride for large, poorly mannered, or hyperactive dogs. There is a great restaurant right across from the hotel called Rizzo’s. They have great food and allow dogs in a side, air conditioned, enclosed room. Over all, Memphis is very dog friendly and we loved the quaint, gracious Arrive Hotel. We highly recommend this hotel if traveling to Memphis with your pet.
Izzy’s Tour
Vespa Sidecar Tour with TacosOur Papillon recently went on her first Vespa Tour in San Antonio, Texas. She had such fun breezing along with Kevin and Liz, Mom and Dad. Kevin and Liz were so patient with all of us. We really enjoyed being with them for the afternoon and visiting the missions in San Antonio with expert guides. Kevin even provided us with pictures after our tour. And the tacos were the best. I highly recommend this tour for you and your dog. Our small dog sat in my lap in the sidecar. The side car was large enough for a much larger dog and small adult or a smaller dog with a larger adult.
