A pleasant find
Casa Del Mar InnA very nice 20’s style building just a block from the harbor. Our room was long one with a sitting area and fireplace, right next to the courtyard. Despite the cold tile floors it was very comfortable. Because it’s not right on the main road it was quiet too. Not far from a small grass park where dogs can roam. The staff was very helpful and Dan gave me great food suggestions. We ate dinner in the beautiful courtyard and no one cared that our dog decided to have a barking fit. Would give 5 bones, but has very little parking so once we got a place were afraid to move the car. Might not be a problem if able to walk distances since it’s not far from the wharf and State Street.
Very dog friendly
Redwood CafeNice little place close to the public parking lot. Staff was very friendly. Dogs are given a water bowl and a treat. Human food wasn’t bad either. Prices seemed a little high, but portions are large.
Great place to stay
Royal Copenhagen InnRight in town, this well maintained motel is a great spot to stay with your dog. It even has a “secret garden” dog park area to let your dog run around a bit. A friendly staff, large parking area, and quiet rooms add to the appeal.
