Meh
Ramada Hotel & Conference Center by Wyndham JacksonvilleThe room itself had an odor upon checking in, and there was dried pasta on the bathroom counter, but the linens were clean, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The biggest issue was that there seemed to be several long-term residents that were up visiting with each other quite late/early. They seemed to be drinking right outside my door, and I had to turn on the TV overnight to drown them out. Thankfully my dog didn't need to go out after dark, because I would not have felt safe. There was also an aggressive dog that lunged against the window and barked at us from next door every time we left the room. I won't be back.

Red Roof Inn ClarksvilleWe stayed at this location both there and back on our trip, and I expect to stay again. The rooms were clean, with no odor, and the overnight front desk staff person was GREAT! There were some cosmetic issues here and there, but totally expected at the price point, and truly nothing more than cosmetic. The only problem was the housekeeping staff who decided to call and wake us up before 8 am (after we clearly checked in late the night before for ONE night) to 'check and see' if we were going to stay another night, or if they could plan on cleaning the room. It was an obvious attempt to get us up and out asap, and after a long day driving, it was incredibly aggravating.
