Quiet, clean, but parking a challenge
Homewood Suites by Hilton Little Rock DowntownIf you’re pulling any kind of trailer, I don’t recommend this property. The gated parking area has a 7 foot height limit. We ended up having park at the post office overnight as there was no street parking nearby. We were roomed in the third floor, which was very quiet. There are no side entrance, so you have to walk your dogs through the lobby. Not great if you have a socially challenged dog.
Wonderful, but avoid the ground floor
La Quinta by Wyndham Clinton Historic Route 66Great property for dogs. Loads of open space for roaming and doing their business. Very clean property. We requested a ground floor room and we’re delighted when we were conveniently situated near the side door that led to our rig. Unfortunately, it seemed like the entire hotel went in and out of that door all night long. Impossible to sleep and set off the dogs every time. It shook the whole room every time it closed. It was a nightmare. When asked if anything could be done about it, I was told no.
Good location and pet areas
Best Western Plus Wine Country Inn & SuitesFront desk was very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of grassy areas for pet relief. Ground floor units have convenient back doors directly to open grassy areas. Starbucks is next door and Panera and McDonalds is across the street. Ramp to 101 is just across from hotel.
