Okay at best
Comfort Inn & Suites Kannapolis ConcordStayed for 2 nights in February 2022. Had a standard queen room on first floor. The room was relatively run down… carpet did not look well vacuumed, smoke detector hanging off wall, marks and stains on walls. Hotel is fairly convenient to restaurants and other needs - plenty of options within a 3 mile radius. Decent lawn area to walk dogs with a bag/trash station around back of hotel. Not the worst place, but FAR from the best.

Not a public park
Dogport Dog ParkDidn't realize until I arrived this is not a public dog park. A paid membership is required to enter. Thankfully, a kind member allowed me to utilize the dog park as me and my dog were travelling across the state. Dog park has no grass and is sand and gravel only.

Nice room
Comfort Suites UniversityThe hotel was clean and the room was very nice. The room I stayed in was HUGE!! Not sure if all the rooms are that big. I was staying in a standard queen on first floor. Kind and pleasant staff. Hotel located across the street from Walmart and close by many food options. Mediocre green space around hotel for walking dogs. Bed was very comfortable.

4.5 stars - Very Pleased
Comfort Inn & Suites Near University of WyomingI have stayed here twice (March 2020 & April 2021). I've been very pleased both stays. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was kind and patient. There is decent, clean green area around the hotel to walk dogs. Upon check in hotel staff provided a welcome bag with dog treats, poop baggies, and hand sanitizer. There is a nice dog park located about 2 miles away (Optimist park).
Only complaint is that it is not terribly conveniently located to restaurants.
I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Great dog park!
Beech Mountain Bark ParkI love this dog park! Great size areas for both small and large dogs. Water hose provided in warmer months (after freezing weather is over). Obstacle/agility courses in both small and large area. Chairs and benches in the parks.
This is a FREE dog park.

Okay, not great
Comfort Inn & Suites RawlinsI've stayed here twice (March 2020 and March 2021). If anything, the place got worse over the year. The room itself is fine - clean and standard. The dining area was under construction during my stay in March 2021 and the sliding glass door to enter the hotel was broken. The outside of the hotel is awful. No good place to walk your dog. Trash, glass, and construction debris are everywhere!!! If I weren't traveling with a dog it wouldn't be such a bother, but pet parents beware that it's not the best hotel to stay with a pup.

Would stay again - Greenway for dog walks
Quality Inn KearneyI have stayed twice at this hotel with my German shepherd (March 2020 and March 2021). It is a good overall hotel. It is a smaller hotel and in a good location right off the inter state in close to several restaurant options. It is a good overall hotel. It is a smaller hotel and in a good location right off the Interstate and close to several restaurant options. I stayed on the 1st flood. The room was simple, nice, and clean. The room had hard floors (no carpet) which was nice so there is no pet odor soaked into the floors. Bed and sheets were very soft and comfortable. The tub/toilet area could use some updating or remodeling. $15 pet fee. There is also a nice Greenway trail that walks along the river directly behind the hotel which is a great place to walk the dog.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for fellow dog travelers.
